It's an honour to introduce a new homeware collection to Hibe, created by QASA QASA, ethical homewares and gifts for sustainable living. 

Here at Hibe we like to connect you and your home with talented makers from around the globe, who create beautiful products that help people or the planet in their processes. 

We hope this homeware collection brings you an eclectic array of interesting products that add long lasting, handcrafted, value to your life. 

Welcome to The Artisan Collection, these pieces are made by some very talented East-African crafts people, each item empowers artisans and comes with its own very special story.

The collection includes hand woven wall baskets, lovingly made by Amsha. They work with six women's co-operatives and several independent artisans across Africa to create mindful home and lifestyle products. The artisans are provided with skills training, market access, fair pay, a collaborative work environment and a path for economic independence.

Unique Kitchenware

From utensils to nibble bowls, you won't be disappointed. Made from African Blackwood, which has stunning wood grains and lines that runs through it, which signifies it's uniqueness in every single piece and pure naturalness. 

Inspiring Trays 

Hand woven trays
Each tray takes 5 days to weave using locally grown ugwafu grass and the white threads of upcycled 'gunia' grain sacks which creates a robust and sturdy base. They're perfect for serving breakfast in bed or holding fruits in your kitchen. They add style and texture to your home, knowing that each one has been made to handmade perfection and comes with an interesting human story.
